The Skins are not magic and can easily be created using a picture editing tool like paint.com (which is free) or Adobe Photo Shop.
Look in the "c:\users\your user name\AppData\Roaming\FlexRadio System\PowerSDR\skins" directory and check out how they are set up. You can then go into one of the sub Directories for instance from the path above plus "\Default 2012\console\base" and have a look there, here is where you build the hand full of buttons and backgrounds, pay attention to there names and sizes then run the "copy.bat" command and it will build the required skin. You will of course want to add your own directory structure to the above "skins" directory and copy just the copy.bat so you don't cross any copy right laws by reusing the existing "png " files and build your own buttons "png's", backgrounds, and "console.png" This may seem like a lot to do but once you get started it is a peace of cake, when you run the "copy.bat file it will move and create the files in YOUR new "Console" directory and you can have your own CUSTOM PowerSDR Flex Radio that no one else in the world has. Hope this helps someone and have fun. I saved a copy of the database, reset to the default, then copied the 60M bandstack data from the default file to the saved file. All is now well. Perhaps Ray should include an "Are you sure your really want to do that?" dialog in his program specifically for 60M. I think I will like the new 2012 Default skin, and I'll even put up with the FlexRadio logo on the panadapter screen. 73 Alan NV8A _______________________________________________ FlexRadio Systems Mailing List [email protected] http://mail.flex-radio.biz/mailman/listinfo/flexradio_flex-radio.biz Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/flexradio%40flex-radio.biz/ Knowledge Base: http://kc.flexradio.com/ Homepage: http://www.flexradio.com/ _______________________________________________ FlexRadio Systems Mailing List [email protected] http://mail.flex-radio.biz/mailman/listinfo/flexradio_flex-radio.biz Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/flexradio%40flex-radio.biz/ Knowledge Base: http://kc.flexradio.com/ Homepage: http://www.flexradio.com/ -- This message has been scanned for viruses and dangerous content by MailScanner, and is believed to be clean. -- This message has been scanned for viruses and dangerous content by MailScanner, and is believed to be clean. _______________________________________________ FlexRadio Systems Mailing List [email protected] http://mail.flex-radio.biz/mailman/listinfo/flexradio_flex-radio.biz Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/flexradio%40flex-radio.biz/ Knowledge Base: http://kc.flexradio.com/ Homepage: http://www.flexradio.com/
