Additional data - when I disconnect the antenna input, all is quiet.
On the hex beam, the noise is more pronounced when pointing west. When I switch to the dipole that is running E/W and broadside N/S, the noise drops by 10 dBm. The HiZ 4 square receiving array has more noise when pointing NW directions and is lowest when pointed SE. Unfortunately, there are no houses within 500 feet to NW. There ARE high voltage power lines, but that does not make sense to have a point source when the lines run from NW to N and NE of the house.
