I've always wondered if soldering the crimped wire would be advantageous.
for 50 years, I've soldered the wires to eyelet and spade connectors even though they were crimpable (is there such a word?)
the problem I have...even with a pencil point soldering iron, I end up melting some of the red or black plastic powerpole connectors.
