Michael I have owned all the previous flex radios and now own the 6500. Great radio but still in the building mode. I ran my flex 5000 and 3000 remote for several years and the thought of working off the World Wide Web on a 6000 is what really got my attention. Now for the bad news. At this time the 3000 works better remotely than the 6000. I have not even worried with remote ing the 6000 until it will work as presented. I am not saying this to tell you to hold off just the opposite now is a great time to get the radio learn how to use it and enjoy every new update as they come out. We are a way from web remote but they have promised it and the Flex team have never let me down. I would also caution you on video graphics card for the 6000. I went with a r7260x latest and greatest but there are issues causing crashes that appear to be driver issues which cannot be fixed. If you have good video on your board stat with it and if going to a high performance card be sure to get at least th ree peopl who run it on your type of machine.
Glad to see you move up to the 6300.
