Dale Why do you make your decision on a "newer" computer? There are LOTS of options to continue using your 5K. Neal will build you a "screamer" or you can go cheap with a refurb on amazon or eBay with W7 and put in a FW card. Don't give up on your 5K . It is still a GREAT radio.
