I just pushed build 2.0.0.41 out as "FlexWiki 2.0 Beta 1". I think it
deserves the Beta title because it's basically feature-complete. The only
thing left to add is the SQL Server provider, which most people don't use
anyway. And of course I'll be doing performance work on the engine once the
SqlProvider is done.

Here's the short list of the improvements in Beta 1 over Alpha 1:

. (Almost) everything works. Newsletters, RSS Feeds, the /admin
pages - everything but the SqlProvider.

. Security. The new authorization model is in place, allowing wikis
to be secured at a wiki, namespace, or topic level. There's also support for
Forms authentication, Windows authentication, or a mix.

Download and enjoy from http://sourceforge.net/projects/flexwiki. And please
do let me know about any bugs you find. This is the first version of 2.0
that I feel moderately comfortable about putting on production sites.
Obviously the more conservative among you will want to stay with 1.8 for
now, but if your wiki isn't critical I think the move to 2.0 is probably
okay to make.
