Ah, that's almost assuredly a semi-major bug. I think there's a whole class
of synthetic properties like that. I think I forgot to add that stuff back
in. I'll have to go back and look at it. The good news is that the new
architecture accommodates this very, very well: so far I'm really pleased
with the way it's working out. Of course, we'll see what happens when the
performance work starts...performance tends to be the source of all sorts of
compromises. But we'll see: maybe the software gods will smile on us.
