You can try the file:// protocol.
file:////myserver/mypath/myfolder <file:///\\myserver\mypath\myfolder>
/file.html

Maybe it's just because my eyes are tired, but I can't find anything to help
with creating internal links on another server on our network. I don't mean
the standard http:// <http://%3cmyserver%3e/path> <myserver>/path ... I mean
links like this .. \\myserver\path\folder <file:///\\myserver\path\folder>
. Obviously, they work with the file, run option on the client directly,
but not in a link for some reason. What obvious step am I missing here?
