hi,
we are going for flexwiki now! :)
the scenario is that i have an existing web app... then i integrated
flexwiki into it... making the flexwiki a sub web app (virtual directory)...
authentication:
i have been able to carry over the main web apps authentication session to
the flexwiki... if for example, somebody will access the wiki directly, he
will be directed to the main app's login page... and when he logs in, the
same session, user identity and all that will be shared across...
authorization:
i am now in the authorization part... i will have to restrict these
particular users (or role, which would be more appropriate)...
i have read in
http://flexwiki.com/default.aspx/FlexWiki/FlexWikiAuthorization.html that
you would just have to modify flexwiki.config file and the namespace
definition topic for some namespaces, which is the
_ContentBaseDefinition.html right?
in the version that i have when i access the content base definition, it
plugs an error* Object reference not set to an instance of an object. *hmn,
why is this so?
as of now, i can restrict a particular user's acess to a particular wiki
page (by user, by wiki page)... the ideal would be to restrict these group
of users' access to a particular namespace (by role or group, by
namespace)...
and also, with regard to fwsync... wherein if you do 'commit'... will it
also checked for \attribution 's identity?
by the way, the version that i have right now is 2.0.0.52...
thanks,
helen
