Done. Once I figured out what the newspeak[1] was, it was not too difficult. Still dunno what the ExposedMethodFlags.CacheNone was supposed to do, but I changed them to ExposedMethodFlags.Default and things seem to work.
[1] does a "dictionary" exist for these 1.8 -> 2.0 mappings?
