I discovered more about the NameSpace edit redirect issue.
When you click save in a non-default namespace and it redirects you to the
default namespace HomePage, this will only happen if you "edit" a topic but
don't actually change anything yet still click save (I seem to often do this).
To duplicate this issue:
1. Visit http://www.flexwiki.com/default.aspx/PlayGround/PlayGround.html
2. Click edit
3. Do not edit anything nor add any spaces.
4. Click save
5. It will redirect you to the default namespace HomePage instead of the
PlayGround (non-default) namespace.
