So I read over the proposal, but I'm not sure I can give good advice. For
one thing, I'm not actually all that familiar with the web app, having spent
most of my time with my head under the hood, so to speak. 

I will say that I think it's probably a bad idea to make WikiTalk read-write
without a really, really compelling reason.
