Ok, I've searched high and low for answers, and I cannot find the solution
to my problem.
I've recently downloaded, installed and "Configured" FlexWiki. I'm running
Forms Authentication with the ASP.net Login Provider (i'm not up on my .net
lingo, so please bare with me), Installed the aspnetdb to store the
usernames and passwords etc.
Inside flex Wiki, i can register as a new user, but I have no idea how to
"accept" a new user. (I dont even know where to setup who the admin is). I
went into the DB and activated my account by changing the field directly,
but thats not going to work when i hand this over to someone else. Are there
any User Managment tools? I can't even change my password from flex wiki
(which gave me a long and very hard temp password). I have no idea what to
do. I saw a page, /admin/users.aspx, but that just gives you the values from
the db and that's still not helpful.
So to recap:
- I dont know where to setup the inital Admin (so i can accept users)
- I dont know how to accept users so they can use flex wiki.
- I dont know how to set their roles.
- I dont know how to reset my own password.
- I dont know if there even *is* a place to manage users in flex wiki.
I've figured out a great deal out on my own, but im now in a place where im
stuck. Any help would be, well.. helpful! =)
