At least as far as OpengGC is concerned, my next major goal is to update the
CVS repository to some sort of "definitive" version that both windows and
unix folks can download and build without any hacking. Once that's
established, then life should be much easier.

So, as a general message to Ross and others who have done some work on unix
builds, please let me know when you have a working version and/or contact me
at [EMAIL PROTECTED] (I'll need your sourceforge id) for write access to the
OpenGC CVS repository.

Be forewarned, now that FTGL is stable, I'm shifting to that (rather than
GLTT). This requires the Freetype 2.04 library, which builds very smoothly.
Fortunately, I don't anticipate switching font libraries again. There will
be some slight directory restructuring relative to the current OpenGC
layout, but nothing too dramatic.

Thanks for all the hard work on the Unix end everyone.... if we could put
together an active list of who's doing/is planning on doing/has done what it
would probably be a help.
