Hmm, I am assuming this is on a ix86 running Linux ? what were your runtime options ? what fdm ? have you checked all of the xml config files for extraneous characters possibly introduced by a CVS update ? Have you tried using larcsim if running jsbsim ie jsbsim is undergoing rapid development lately FWIW something is stamping on the initial position variables could be anything.
