Is the mixture 100% rich?

I just noticed that the c310.xml in the base package was still using a
fixed-pitch prop, and updated it to use the a variable-pitch,
constant-speed prop, but that should not have been the source of
your difficulties.

Assuming that you're using a Cygwin bash shell and that the regular
Unix utilities are present, try something like this:

cd [wherever your base package is]
  cvs status 2>&1 | grep Status: | grep -v Up-to-date
cd [wherever your FlightGear source tree is]
  cvs status 2>&1 | grep Status: | grep -v Up-to-date

If anything shows up, then you're out of sync. Perhaps you have local
mods copied over from the JSBSim CVS.

All the best,

David
