Can we take this off line. Some of us our trying to eat here. :-) Speaking of which, I was talking gps receivers with my old boss yesterday. He just bought a garmin etrex vista. The other day a friend of his came over and my old boss was showing his friend the new toy. Specifically he was showing him the track of where he had walked the dog the day before. You could see the general meandering, and then the trail broke sharply, headed straight for a particular point, then straight for another point and then resumed meandering. My old boss's friend asked about the distinct geometrical 'features' of the track. Let's just say that my old boss is a responsible dog owner and one of the end points was a trash can. I speculated that the sign of a very disturbed individual would be someone who used up all 24Mb on their etrex vista marking a waypoint at every place they had to go pick up after their dog ...
