further to my earlier mail on this thread ----

gl.h on linux/nvidia machines does seem to have the GL_EXT_point_parameters 
functions, but how do you obtain the entry address to these functions in the 
api library. I mean what is the equivalent of wglGetProcAddress("xxx").
