It's not out of the realm of possibility, but IIRC the C++ code that
drives the turn coordinator also has something to do with the mag compass
locking at high G. So unless I'm talking completely out my butt (nah ;),
if the mag compass locks up at mild accelerations then the problem isn't in 
the XML. OTOH, if the mag compass is behaving appropriately then
the XML could be funky. *But* if they both work in LaRCsim/YASim
then the problem is with JSBsim. AFAIK it's supposed to work the same
under all the FDM's using the same scaling value.
That said, I just updated my desktop and should be getting to the point where
I can build and run FGFS shortly.
