KUDD is a combination golf and aviation community in the south Palm Springs area. Their clubhouse has a rather nice restaurant and the usual landing fees are waived if you go and have a meal. Nice people. Bonus: It is slightly further from San Diego than the legal minimum of 50nm for the trip to count as a cross country for student pilots 8-). It even has an instrument approach, even though it's in the desert, which is an equally good excuse to stop in when doing IFR training. And no, I can't afford to live there either. Recommended to visit ...! Curt: Given that it takes several manyears to finish a homebuilt, it would be rather frustrating to live in such a commmunity and be unable to fly. Just how much spare time do you plan to have (grin) ? _______________________________________________ Flightgear-devel mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mail.flightgear.org/mailman/listinfo/flightgear-devel
