Trying to build SimGear and FlightGear (using the approach I have always
used) gives this:

running /bin/sh ./configure --with-logging CFLAGS= CXXFLAGS= --no-create
--no-recursion
./configure: 4: Syntax error: Bad fd number
make: *** [config.status] Error 2

./aclocal.m4:346: /usr/bin/m4: Warning: Excess arguments to built-in
`define' ignored
configure.in:33: AC_PROG_CPP was called before AC_PROG_CC

./configure: not found

/bin/sh ./config.status --recheck
running /bin/sh ./configure --with-logging CFLAGS= CXXFLAGS= --no-create
--no-recursion
./configure: 4: Syntax error: Bad fd number
make: *** [config.status] Error 2

/bin/sh ./config.status --recheck
running /bin/sh ./configure --with-logging CFLAGS= CXXFLAGS= --no-create
--no-recursion
./configure: 4: Syntax error: Bad fd number
make: *** [config.status] Error 2

Trying to run ./configure gives:

./configure: 4: Syntax error: Bad fd number

Can anyone tell me what this is:

Jon
