I've just checked out a completely clean base, simgear and flightgear, and it is still starting up with full left aileron and full down elevator. Is there really no-one else seeing this?
The full down elevator which I'd missed before was the reason JSBSim was so hard to keep straight on the runway BTW, so please ignore my previous comments on that. It is now possible to keep it nicely straight during takeoff with a bit of right rudder applied.
