Yesterday morning, I put in some changes that add the ability to set glideslope and climb rate from the command line. For example, try: fgfs --altitude=1000 --vc=80 --glideslope=-3 --offset-distance=3 and you should find yourself in a steady descent towards the default runway at KSFO. Assuming you don't change your descent rate or speed this should take you right down to the threshold (heading corrections will still be required).
I'm currently working on a function to automatically calculate the altitude if given a glideslope and offset distance or calculate the offset given a glideslope and heading. -- Tony Peden [EMAIL PROTECTED] We all know Linux is great ... it does infinite loops in 5 seconds. -- attributed to Linus Torvalds _______________________________________________ Flightgear-devel mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mail.flightgear.org/mailman/listinfo/flightgear-devel
