Guilty as charged - that was me. It was experimental and meant to be removed before the release, but 0.7.10 came out before I even noticed! Since I haven't got time to finish that bit of code (make it fly circuits) at the moment it might as well be ripped out - I'll send a patch. Hopefully I should eventually be able to rewrite it using David M's 3D model interface without the problems it has now.
