In recent weeks the optimizations that were giving geforce people 10-15% speed ups where only increasing a frame or two on this system. So generally I'm assuming that if I lose 1 fps it's going to be more for those with faster cards or slower CPUs. There are so many variables between cards and even opengl support so it's hard to tell what the effects are until people try it. All I can do is try and be stingy with the number of cpu cycles i'm using up.

That is impressive. Guess I need to get that visiontek card (that's been sitting here for the last two months) installed. Been putting it off because I still want to be able to test on Voodoo. The machine the voodoo is getting transfered to has a big old sony fixed sync on it...which needs to be moved to a 3rd machine so I can use the 3rd machine's multisync on the Voodoo. In other words doing the upgrade involves frigging with 3 computers :-) Best, Jim _______________________________________________ Flightgear-devel mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mail.flightgear.org/mailman/listinfo/flightgear-devel
