I have a feeling that we won't have good, free geodata for the rest of
the world until the U.S. decides to provide it for us, sort-of like
military defence (not that I doubt that the Canadian navy or French
army, for example, could actually fight a war on their own -- no, on
second thought, I do doubt it).
