I just changed the version file ("/usr/local/FlightGear/version" ) to
contain 0.9.1 instead of 0.90

As I understand it, 0.9.1 is the unstable development version.  These
sort of gotchas are either not an issue for those who like to live on
the bleeding edge -- or intentional so that people ask this question.
