I personally reccomend building one of the script interfaces to metakit then you can explore the database interactively The 'C" code that builds and uses the databases is all in $FG_SRC / src / Airports But for experimenting the script interface is hard to beat >also, does anyone know of a reference regarding making > corrections for true north and calculating geodetics and distances > from lat/long ?
