I think I should have stated this a little more clear (In this case I used the Dutch grammar to express an English sentence the wrong way, I expect this might happen every once in a while in the feature).Erik Hofman writes:Curtis L. One paper discusses land mark recognization to aid autonomous vehicle navigation (i.e. around a different planet that doesn't have gps satellites overhead), and the other paper discusses the development of an autopilot for a Mars flying vehicle.Do we need to shout this out all over the place (like X-Plane)?Are you asking if we should post this in additional locations, or are you implying that the post to the flightgear list was already a little overblown?
To state it clear: I do like to be noticed of all those projects using FlightGear as the base (or a sub part) of their effort.
I was actually a bit sarcastic about X-plane because they (he) had a story like this on it's introduction page, but never mind this question anymore ... :-/
Although it might be time to place a picture or two of this (and the realistic Wright Flyer) on the index page.
Another (more realistic) question, are the FDM changes and terrain data available somewhere? You should contact the Phil that is listed in the papers on that.
I like the idea of configurable planet characteristics for FlightGear. Erik _______________________________________________ Flightgear-devel mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mail.flightgear.org/mailman/listinfo/flightgear-devel
