Hmm; if we arrange a FGFS parallel meeting to one of the other conferences, we need to be sure to pick one that is in a usually-VFR town and month, such as AeroSense in Orlando Florida, LinuxWorld in San Francisco, Smart Structures in San Diego, etc ... It'd help to have someone already in town, familiar with the local FBOs! Alternatively, if we put together a flight data recording package, maybe we could get it taken flying on various show aircraft at an EAA flyin.
