Perl (Perl::Tk?) used to have a function called after() which would set up a timer to execute the specified function after the specified number of milleseconds. That doesn't seem to exist any more in my version of perl ???? I could be missing something obvious or doing something stupid, but I think maybe I just missed a memo someplace.
What's the accepted way to do this in perl?
