Hello, I had prepared perl + shell script for making Airport specs for FGFS from Tab delimited DAFIF data (DAFIFT) and would like you to check it out and tell me if it is of use.
There are two files - a shell script for reading DAFIFT for an airport and
a perl script for making FGFS airport.
The shell script has variable (DAFIFT_DIR) pointing to the unzipped DAFIFT directory.
Creation of runways appear ok except for approach lighting system spec.
I could not make out what combination of light systems in DAFIF would
result in the various types ALS in .apt runway spec.
