I've hacked up a little Perl script to give me clearances to random NDB holds around CYOW:
http://www.megginson.com/flightsim/clearance If anyone else on the list is doing primary or recurrent IFR training, feel free to snarf it and change the list of NDB names at the start for your own locality. The output looks like this: $ perl clearance Cleared direct to the Ottawa NDB at current altitude. Hold northwest on the 330 degree inbound track, right-hand turns. $ perl clearance Cleared direct to the Greely NDB at current altitude. Hold east on the 90 degree inbound track, left-hand turns. And so on.
