I did a make distclean; autogen.sh; ./configure; make and I still have the problem. I'm not too worried since I am using the UFO FDM and it does not prevent me from getting an executable. It is odd that the problem even showed up, but we'll see. Maybe Apple will upgrade their developer tools to gcc 3.2 on the next release.

Hmm...

You could try deleting the JSBSim directory

then try the desparate man's approach

% cvs up
% autogen.sh; ./configure; make

if that doesn't work then you have got me stumped too
