Tell me about it. I wasted three hours on Monday trying to figure out why the my second texture unit was working, but failing to pick up the texture from the first one. I stared and stared at the code until I was convinced that there was *NO* *WAY* that it could be wrong. OpenGL couldn't possibly even *know* that it was supposed to do the wrong thing. It was *right*, arrgh!!
That, of course, was when I realized that I'd screwed up the sense of the alpha channel in the second texture. The bug was in a perl/postscript script way upstream. Sigh.
