You know, now that I think of it,  5 hours should probably be in reach for the
400.  Something isn't right.   I'm really not an FDM person.  It seems as
though last I knew the nose was pitched down unrealistically with AP on. 
Maybe there is something in the model that really has the aircraft pitched
like?  That would create a lot of extra drag and cut the fuel economy.  On the
other hand maybe the jet engine model is broken.

Maybe Andy will check in at some point and shed some light.
