AFAIK, here[1] is our current position on this: "No, we do not currently support combat. Most of our developers are primarily focused on civilian aviation. We aren't explicitly excluding these features -- we just haven't had anyone who seriously wanted to develop these areas. However, FlightGear does contain several military aircraft, albeit without munitions."
