I've never seen the terminal on my Cygwin built exe, I've always seen it (since it's introduction) on my Linux built exe. Perhaps this is purely a Cygwin problem since yourself (MingW ?) and Fred B (MSVC) don't seem to have it. Is there anyone on the list who has seen the terminal on a non-MingW Cygwin build?
