Well... ummm... probably not. Actually last week I did have a segfault in fgfs that apparently tripped a bug in the nvidia driver causing it to lose track of card memory. :-) No accounting for it in terms of processes, killing X did not release the driver, but rebooting of course did it. Only time I've seen anything this like since giving up the voodoo card last year.
