If this problem has been covered before please send me looking for the appropriate references.   I found a reference to this same problem in the archives but did not see any suggestions or fixes.  I am not familiar with configure but I did look through the options (--help) and nothing looked promising.

I have used WinCVS to download the latest FlightGear, SimGear etc. I copied clean CVS sources into /usr/src... and quickly built plib and metakit.  I get the following error when running ./config for SimGear

$ ./autogen.sh  (runs ok)

$ ./configure --prefix=/usr/local/

.

.

.

configure: creating ./config.status

config.status: creating \

.infig.status: error: cannot find input file: \

When I looked in the scripts this error seemed to result from not finding configure.in?

Development Environment

Windows 2000 - Version 5.0.2195, Service Pack 3

Latest release of CYGWIN version 2.340.2.5 with most, if not all, features

Pentium X86

WinCVS 1.3.13

Any help would be appreciated!
