Welcome! During my translation work on Polish I have found some missing function. 1) Now we can translate main menu options, and help (text help witch we run by parameter --help)- BUT WE CAN NOT translate other option. For example: You can translate 'Options' word than for example 'Pilot offset' and now you see the window with option to change the position of pilot but you CAN NOT translate options in that window, in stream-default.xml file there are now examples of marks (<mark>) used for that kind of windows translations. So it would be nice if there would be some marks used in stream files to translate all texts witch users can see.
2)Encoding problem- there are some problems with other encodings than ISO8859-1 for example Polish ISO8859-2. Parser inform that there is an error, so we with Curt change the number ISO8859-2 on to -1, now there was no problems with parsing but... If you use special leters used for example in Polish language, parser remove that marks, it looks like this: Should be: elephant (for example l,p and n are Polish marks) after parsing is: eehat That's the problem, because I had to remove all Polish leters from translation file and use only Latin basic leters. 3)I think that translation files should be minimaly in UTF-8 encoding I understand that there must be some fonts for UTF8, but I think that changing encoding on to UTF8 would be worth some work. I could prepare some fonts if someone could explain me how to make them but I have no time to do it now. I plane to start helicopters FDM for FG this summer and also I have some other projects to do, so it would be nice if someone could prepare FG parser for UTF8 (or other UTF encoding (UTF64)).
