Hi, I would like to use flightgear as a testbed for controller software for an R/C model aircraft. I have a small R/C plane and am using a Sharp Zaurus (linux palmtop PC) to interface with the aircraft hardware via a serial cable. The aircraft has digital compas and GPS sensors onboard.
What is the best way to set up flightgear to interface with an external application? http://www.unet.univie.ac.at/~a8603365/remote.html this site suggests that I can use a --props option to enable a telnet interface to the flightgear property tree. Does this only work in Flightgear 0.92? it doesnt appear to work in the windows version of Flightgear.
