The lastest hack for x-box doesn't require a mod chip. http://www.theinquirer.net/?article=10229 A very interesting situation. I thought about using x-boxes as cheap render boxes but they only come with 64MB ram afaik and you can bet that it'll be soldered on the mobo to save costs.
