Someone else reported that the current AC3D export scripts no longer work with Blender 2.28.
The semi-good news, however, is that Blender 2.28 has cleaned up its VRML 1.0 export function so that it no longer uses implicit texture mapping -- that means that plib can import VRML 1.0 models exported from Blender 2.28. At least, sort-of. Here are some snags: 1. *Every* object in the model must have a texture assigned to it, or the plib loader will fail. 2. More complicated models seem to send the plib loader into an endless loop until it runs out of memory. Nevertheless, I have succeeded in importing small textured models into the plib SSG viewer (examples/src/ssg/viewer/), so there is hope. It would be nice to be able to bypass the Blender AC3D export scripts altogether. If anyone wants to try to fix some of the snags in the plib loader, the place to start is src/ssg/ssgLoadVRML1.cxx.
