Can someone explain the use of ssh keys to me? I want to set up ssh keys on my cygwin machine at home to I can log into my sourceforge account without having to specify the password. I still am not sure how the keys, identity.pub, etc. all work.
I always found it quite convenient to have to provide a password because it allows me to look at what CVS is actually trying to do before the get committed.
Every now and then I get the problem where I start comments with ' and end them with " causing alls kinds of troubles. I almost always notice that upon password check.
