I think Curt does not really need "beginner's lesson to HTML" .... The main problem is that directory layouts of different ftp-mirrors are likely to differ _and_ the hostname will be different. _This_ is a lesson I'd be interested in: How do you substitute 'http://www....' by 'ftp://ftp....' automagically _without_ a dynamic web page !?
