I'm trying to track down a fault with the heading bug where it does not rotate with the compass card, meaning that the autopilot doesn't roll level at the desired heading (the heading bug never makes it to top-dead-centre).
I've looked at the c310 and the seahawk in depth, and glanced at the others . The c182 and c310 work correctly. The a4, b52 and seahawk don't. As far as I can tell, the similar factor is that the c182 & c310 don't have autopilot configurations in the *-set.xml file, whereas the a4, b52 and seahawk do. In those *-set.xml files that do have autopilot entries, they don't have an entry for the heading bug; however, I am guessing that the autopilot configs override some default entry and prevent the autopilot heading bug from rotating. I'm not a programmer and aren't skilled enough to look at the source code, but does this ring any bells with anyone? I'm happy to work with someone to fix this.
