In response to a private request from another developer, I went ahead
and generated a new star catalogue.  I built it from exactly the same
source as it seems to have been built from before - the YBS.edb file
in the xephem distribution - which I hope leaves our stars file in the
same legal position it was before.

I provided the developer with a URL to the new star database Tuesday
night, but have not yet seen it appear in CVS.  Any other developers
who might be inclined to throw it in, feel welcome:

I am positive; the coordinates in the stars file were simply wrong,
and fixing them repaired the constellations.  Orion before:
