I wouldn't even bother wasting my time trying to use real recordings. - You need controlled recordings - voices that deliberately have very little inflection, no slurring, etc. - You need that controller to pronounce every possible word that will be required. Even if you listen to one real world controller he'll never pronounce all the airport names for you while on duty.
