I've been getting quite a few of those. The amount of time it can take varies, but it's usually repeatable. Turning off AI traffic seems to fix it. Looks like there may be some data missing from some of the airport/tower data. I've tried starting from some of the indicated airports and also set them as waypoints without any problems, so whatever's causing it seems to be only used by the AI traffic.
